- Ventilate the greenhouse occasionally to maintain air circulation.
Watering and Moisture Management
- Water plant pots lightly, if at all, and keep plants moist but slightly on the dry side.
- Be careful not to over-water house plants, and drain them after watering to avoid root rot.
- Water very little in the greenhouse to reduce the risk of grey mould disease.
Frost Protection and Temperature Control
- Set up a greenhouse frost protection heater to protect tender plants, such as geraniums or fuchsias, from hard frost.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate temperatures for your greenhouse and house plants.
Plant Care
- Tidy away old tomato, cucumber, and chili plants, and dry chilies on a dinner plate.
- Plant a grapevine in the greenhouse, allowing it to root out in the outdoors within a couple of years.
