January 29 – February 4
- Prune back large permanent greenhouse plants in the next few weeks.

- Gently pollinate the first flowers of greenhouse peach trees with a small soft paintbrush or by tapping support wires on a sunny day.
- Water a grapevine well to encourage early growth and better ripening.
February 19 – February 25
- Sow seeds of tomatoes, peppers, and chillies for greenhouse growing to ensure timely cropping and ripening.
- Increase watering for most greenhouse plants in pots as growth begins.
- Enjoy the perfect blooms of greenhouse camellias in pots.
- Begin feeding greenhouse plants.
- Tap the flowers of a peach tree to release pollen or use a fine brush.
February 26 – March 4
- Sow tomato seeds for greenhouse growing, as well as sweet peppers and chilli peppers, before mid-March to avoid delayed cropping.
- Pot up begonias and cannas for summer display in the greenhouse or conservatory.
- Feed and water all greenhouse plants.
- Check for pests, especially greenflies, on the tips of new growth.
- Tap the flowers of a peach tree to release pollen or use a fine brush.
